Two nights ago, my 4-year-old girl blurted ‘Jesus told me some mosquitoes are good.’ My ear perked up. “What? Did Jesus talk to you?” She said Jesus speaks to her every night. She said when her knee got hurt Jesus whispered to her “Hello Eliza how are you? I died (on the cross), but came back. It’s the end. (Ethan asked, ‘did you mean It is finished like in the bible?’, Eliza said ‘No, Jesus said the end.’) I will heal your knee. You will get better.” She said as she pointed at her heart ‘Jesus walked on the water.’ She said that Jesus was the size of the tennis ball, but as time went by, it grew as big as teddy bear now.
On a separate note, in the middle of last night, Eliza started crying so loudly. I immediately thought it’s because of her sweat and brought her downstairs where it’s colder, yet she still cried really hard. So I turned on air conditioner. Usually she would stop crying when she senses cold air coming at her, but last night she kept crying super mad cries. Only then I realized I should start praying. I repeated very simple prayers “Dear Jesus, please come to Eliza and tell her it’ll be alright”. Only after I repeated it the second time, her voice got smaller, so I kept praying this simple payer. She went back to sleep SUPER fast.
