Now that everybody is working from home, our team has a virtual social gathering. Most frequent topics in that gathering is Netflix binge watching titles. With that said I just watched ‘A walk to remember’.
Nicolas Spark, famous for ‘Notebook’, wrote the screen play. It is about a high school senior trouble maker boy falling in love with a daughter of a pastor. What is more dramatic is that the girl was dying of Leukemia. One of the best line by the girl is “Faith(God) is like a wind. You can feel it but you can’t see it.” Amen!
Now I have a topic for next Monday’s virtual happy hour. Lol.
FYI - If you want to read Nicolas Spark, I recommend ‘Three weeks with my brother’ It is a memoir, and his actual life is much more dramatic than any novels he wrote.
