So sorry to hear E is sick :( I will pray for you guys. Protocols are changing daily in the inpatient and outpatient settings. I'm not sure if US has it all together yet, especially now the outpatient clinics do not allow any cough/fever to be seen in person. Some people are making up complaints just to be seen. But this exposes healthcare workers and other patients in the clinics.
It's been challenging to say the least. But I think judging or blaming those we disagree with doesn't help either. I'm in the camp of let's just all try to support one another, however we can, until this thing is over.
It might actually be better that we don’t get tested. Let’s say we all have Covid-19, there is not much we could do anyway, and survival rate is pretty high anyway. Let’s say it was Not Covid-19, which is very likely, it will pass. Either way, we are staying home.
I think the stats have very different meaning behind.
